Pine Creek Wilderness

The Pine Creek Wilderness Area and the surrounding Cleveland Forest is in a recovery stage; although it has suffered from tree cover loss over the last decade the forest appears to be in healthy condition. With an abundant amount of low-lying shrubs, clustered oaks, and moderate amounts of deadwood on the forest floor the forest is in good condition to fully recover and thrive in the future.
