From our observations, our hypothesis on the dryness of plants throughout the park is primarily due to natural causes was proven correct. The park and its trails were cleaner than we expected, and we thought there would be much more visible evidence of negative human impact on this area given how many people visit it. Through our visit to Presidio Hill in the context of Global Forest Watch and an Environmental Science class, we learned and observed a lot more than is seen only in passing.
