Exploring the Ecosystem of the Julian Forest

When we arrived, we immediately saw deer, which we took as a sign of good health in the Julian forest. There were apparent sign of logging in the areas as well as lichen on the trees. Despite the California drought, the Julian forest appears to be thriving.
